Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 Jan 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pranved ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website, book an appointment or visit our clinic.

Information we collect

  • Booking details: your name, phone number, preferred date and time, and the reason for your visit.
  • Health information: when you become our patient, your medical history, examination findings, diagnosis, prescriptions, reports and photos that you or your doctor add to your record.
  • Contact messages: anything you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
  • Basic website data: simple technical information such as your browser type, to keep the website working.

How we use it

  • To confirm and manage your appointments and send reminders.
  • To examine you, plan and record your treatment, and prepare prescriptions.
  • To contact you about your follow-up, reports or payments.
  • To improve our services and keep the clinic running safely.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

Who can see it

Your health record is seen only by the doctor treating you and the clinic staff who need it to help you. We may share information:

  • with you, for example your prescription on WhatsApp or by a private link;
  • with laboratories or other doctors, only when you ask us or agree to it;
  • with technology providers that store our data securely for us, who may only use it to provide that service;
  • when the law requires it.

Photos and patient stories

We publish a patient story, result or photo on the website only with the patient's written permission. You may withdraw that permission at any time and we will remove it.

Keeping your information safe

Records are stored in password-protected systems and access is limited by role. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep medical records for as long as needed for your care and as required by law, and then delete or anonymise them.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

  • show you the information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • stop sending you reminders or messages;
  • delete information we are not required to keep.

Messages

By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call, SMS or WhatsApp you about your appointments and treatment. Tell us if you would prefer not to receive them.

Children

For patients under 18, a parent or guardian gives consent and may ask us about the child's record.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
